Frost-Bite Me

This was my entry to the art contest for the 2007 New York Anime Festival. The theme of the contest was "Winter", and so this is for everyone who has ever been standing in the freezing cold while an advertisement for an insanely expensive Holiday getaway cruelly mocks you. Mocks!!!

Drawn and inked by hand. Colored with markers, except for the poster which was done with colored pencils. October 2007. ^_^

Edit: "Frost-Bite Me" was chosen as one of the 15 finalists, but ultimately did not win. Still, I am so glad to have been able to participate. Thanks, everyone, for all your best wishes and/or votes! ^_^
